Rakhi or Rakshabandhan is the festival of the bond between brothers and sisters. This festival is celebrated worldwide to strengthen the bond of love, care, and affection between siblings. This festival occurs on the Indian month Shravan’s last day or usually occurs in the month of August as per the English calendar. However, this year there is confusion about the dates of Rakshabandhan. Some are saying that Rakhi will be celebrated on the 11th of August while some are planning to celebrate the festival of happiness on the 12th of August.

Raksha Bandhan 2022 Date
In this blog, we are trying to remove all confusion related to the Raksha Bandhan 2022 Date. A sister must tie the knot of love and care, Rakhi in the perfect time as per the Hindu calendar. Rakhi ceremony conducted in “Bhadra” is considered wrong. As per Hindu traditions, we should avoid celebrating Rakhi during Bhadra timings. As per the Hindu calendar, Purnima of Shukla Paksha of Sravan will start from 10:38 am on 11th august and remains up to 7:05 am on 12th August. So Rakshabandhan 2022 will be celebrated on 11th August.

Auspicious Timing or Shubh Muhrat of Rakshabandhan 2022
Shubh Muhrat of Rakhi 2022 will start at 11:37 am and ends at 12:29 pm which will be considered as Abhijit Murat. However, Vijay Muhrat will remain from 2:14 PM to 3:07 PM. Sister can tie Rakhi during these two Muhrats. One should avoid the Bhadra period during the celebration.
