How is a planet with the same conditions as Mars where NASA has sought applications to send 4 people, know how to apply?
One Year Mars Journey: The US space agency NASA has sought applications from people who wish to live for a year in Mars-like conditions. 4 people will get a chance to live on a planet like Mars. NASA says that it wants to do a study to deal with the challenges facing Mars. The Mars-like environment that all the passengers will be placed in has been prepared at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. Know what this place is like and what challenges people will face here…
People will live in Mars Dune Alpha built-in 1700 square feet
The four people to be selected will live at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. Here Mars Dune Alpha has been made with a 3D printer, which is spread over 1,700 square feet. According to NASA, living in this centre on Earth will help people understand and cope with the challenges that astronauts face.
These challenges will have to be faced
In Mars Dune Alpha, designed like Mars, travellers will find a variety of challenges. As facilities will be limited here, communication will be delayed to talk to someone. Apart from this, challenges like the failure of the equipment present here may also have to be faced. This will understand what kind of physical and mental challenges astronauts may have to deal with on the Mars mission. The food found here will also be ready-to-eat, just like the astronauts eat.

3 big conditions to apply
- Non-smoker US citizens between the ages of 30 and 35 can apply.
- The applicant must also be physically fit with fluency in English.
- It is mandatory to have a master’s degree in Engineering, Maths, Physics or Computer Science from a recognized institute.
