Garhwali and Kumaoni Language in Google Keyboard
Many languages and dialects are spoken in Uttarakhand, but there are three major languages. Garhwali, Kumaoni, and Jaunsari. Efforts are on to save these hill languages from social media. This effort has also been supported by Google. Google has included Garhwali and Kumaoni in its ‘Go Keyboard’.
Go Keyboard is installed on most Android phones. Because of this, you type on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and other places. Just like you used to type in Hindi till now, now you can also type Garhwali and Kumaoni.

How to use
To choose Garhwali and Kumaoni keyboard, you have to go to the settings of the Go Keyboard app. Here you get the option of Choose Keyboard. Select it and you will get a complete list of languages. In this list only you will find Garhwali and Kumaoni languages.
This is how work will be done
After selecting the language, you have to do ‘Add Keyboard’ as soon as you click on it. Garhwali or Kumaoni keyboard will also be added to your Gboard. After this, while you type between Hindi and English, you can do the same for these Pahari languages.

Google gives suggestions:
When you type from the Go Keyboard, you always get an auto word of words in front of you. The same is the case with Pahari languages. As soon as you type a word, in the same way, auto-decoration of words of Garhwali-Kumaoni language starts.
Use to Work on keyboard
Initially, it may take time to get hold of the keyboard, but after practicing for a few days you will enjoy typing in your mother tongue. Go Keyboard has given place to not only Garhwali and Kumaoni but also many other languages of India on Go Keyboard.
