How to Keep Liver Healthy: Liver disease is spreading very fast. This disease is seen in people of almost every age. According to a study, about one million people are suffering from the liver disease every year in India. With this, according to the World Health Organization, it is one of the ten causes of death in India.

These figures are sufficient to describe the condition of liver disease and they also indicate that if liver disease is not stopped in time, the number of liver patients may increase in the coming few years. Moreover, if liver disease is not treated in time, then in that case liver transplant is required. If you are also unaware of the knowledge of the liver disease, then do not delay because this disease can also happen to you.What is liver disease?

The liver is an important part of the human body, located on the right side of the stomach and between the rib. The liver of the body performs various functions like removing body toxins, digesting food, transportation blood, and so on. But some times liver is unable to perform its action properly. This is due to Liver disease.

In addition, liver disease or liver disease refers to diseases that affect liver function. There are mainly several types of liver diseases like hepatitis, liver damage, liver inflammation, etc.

Eat Vitamin c

Vitamin C is very beneficial for the liver. Including vitamin C rich things in the diet strengthens the immune system and also keeps the liver healthy. To avoid liver-related diseases, include foods rich in vitamin C in your diet.

Ginger

Ginger is very beneficial for health and if you include it in your daily diet, it is good for you. It should be consumed daily to avoid liver-related diseases.

Green leafy vegetables

To keep your liver fit and healthy, green leafy vegetables should be included in your diet. Eating green leafy vegetables keeps the liver healthy. To avoid liver-related diseases, eat more and more green leafy vegetables.

There are mainly several types of liver diseases, some of which are as follows-

Jaundice– This is the most popular liver disease, in which the color of the eyes turns yellow. Usually, jaundice is more common in newborns. If it is not treated at the right time, it can also cause the death of children.

Liver cancer– When the cancer tissue is produced in the liver, it is known as liver cancer.

Hepatitis- This is another type of liver disease, which is caused by the hepatitis virus. If the problem is not treated in time, it can take a fatal form.

Liver dysfunction– The liver disease is the most common type of liver disease, it occurs when the liver is unable to function properly. Those who are more prone to liver damage are more likely to consume alcohol at higher levels.

Liver swelling– It has often been seen that some people have swelling in their liver. This problem is mainly due to eating rust food, eating oily food, etc. The person suffering from this problem does not have a clean stomach and has to resort to medicines.

Liver cirrhosis– When the liver cell-depleted, this is known as cirrhosis. The solution to this problem is possible only by liver transplant or liver transplant.

Fatty liver– Fatty liver refers to such a disease when fat or fat tissue gathers on the liver. It has become a very common problem today, affecting around 28 percent of the people worldwide.

Symptoms of Liver Disease

Like any other disease, liver disease or liver disease also have certain symptoms, which indicate its occurrence.

Symptoms of liver disease are as follows-

Abdominal pain and swelling- If a person complains of abdominal pain and swelling, it can be a sign of liver disease. In such a situation, he should check his health and solve this problem.

Swelling of feet and ankles– In some people, there is swelling of feet and ankles. However, it is cured by some home remedies, but if this problem persists for a long time, then it should be taken seriously as it can be a sign of liver disease.

Vomiting– Vomiting is also another symptom of liver disease. Some people do not take vomiting seriously, resulting in severe illness.

Skin itching– If a person has itching on the skin, it can be a sign of liver disease.

Causes of Liver Disease

Liver disease occurs due to many reasons, some of them are as follows-

Infection – The liver disease can be caused by an infection. This is why people are advised by experts to avoid any kind of infection.

Having a genetic cause– If other members of a person’s family have liver disease, then that person is also more likely to have it.

Excessive consumption of alcohol– If a person consumes a high amount of alcohol, then he is more likely to have liver damage because alcohol consumption directly affects the liver.

Diabetes – The liver disease can also happen to a person who has diabetes. In the event of diabetes, insulin is not produced in sufficient quantity in the body, in which case the liver is not able to perform its function properly.

Constipation– If a person complains of constipation, he can get liver disease because it directly affects his digestive system and it also affects the liver.

Being overweight– Another reason for liver disease is overweight. As such a person should keep his weight under control and if he has increased enough, he should immediately treat it.
