Lakshmi Poojan in Diwali 2020: The Karthik month of the Hindu calendar is famous for Diwali or festival of lights. This day is believed to be the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after Killing Demon King Ravana. Also it was said on the day of Diwali the whole Ayodhya city lightened up with Diyas. Since then this festival started being celebrated. But Goddess Lakshmi is also worshiped on this day. Moreover, it is said that Lakshmi, the mother goddess of wealth, enters the house on this day.

The arrival of Goddess Lakshmi in Diwali

On this day the Sun enters its seventh i.e. Libra sign and the latter begins. That is why the first Amavasya of Kartik month is the time of new beginning and new construction. In the Jeevidyaranava Tantra, Kalratri is referred to as Shakti Raat. Kalratri is considered to be an enemy destroyer, as well as a symbol of auspiciousness, providing happiness and prosperity.
The reason behind Lakshmi Poojan in Diwali 2020 is the arrival of Goddess Lakshmi after “Samundra Manthan”. According to religious stories, on the new moon day of the Krishna Paksha of Kartik month, the arrival of Mother Lakshmi came from the churning of the sea. According to another belief, this day is the birthday of Maa Lakshmi.

Prasad that must be Included during Lakshmi Poojan in Diwali 2020

Prasad has an important role in the worship of Diwali. It is said that Mother Lakshmi comes home during the puja, so the color of the goddess’s feet and auspicious signs are made at the door. Priority is also given to the temple, which is very popular with mother Vishnupriya. Although God is hungry for emotion, the devotion that the devotee gives him with his true heart is enough. But the devotees do everything possible to please the mother on their behalf. The list of items that must be included in Lakshmi Poojan in Diwali 2020 to please Goddess Lakshmi.

Coconut

Coconut offerings are mostly offered in temples. Actually, it is considered to be the symbol of Goddess Lakshmi, so she is also offered coconut. Mata Lakshmi is very pleased by offering coconut offerings on Diwali.

Fox Nut ( Makhane )

Makhana Devi Lakshmi is very much liked as it is made from lotus flower seeds, hence it is also called flower Makhana. It inevitably climbs in the enjoyment of Goddess Lakshmi. By making Kheer and baking it lightly in ghee. one can include it in the Bhog during Lakshmi Poojan in Diwali 2020.

Pan

During the worship of Diwali, all the Bhog is offered to the mother before the aarti, but paan is the only Bhog which seems to be the last. Although sweet water is offered to Lakshmi Ji if sweet paan is not available. Also, plain betel leaves can also be offered in Shri Charan.

Batashe

Goddess Lakshmi is also considered to be the sister of the Moon. Batashe is related to the Moon, so Goddess Lakshmi also likes it. Therefore, especially Batashe and sugar toys are offered as prasad to the mother. Also, kheer and other white offerings in the form of sweets are offered to please the mother.

Water chestnut ( Singhara)

Goddess Lakshmi likes all those fruits and flowers, which thrive in water. Apart from Kamal, Makhana, Kamal Cucumber, Singhara is also an interest of interest for the Goddess of Wealth. They have special significance in Diwali.

Timings of Lakshmi Poojan in Diwali 2020

Diwali 2020 Puja Muhurat: In 2020, Diwali will be celebrated on 14th November 2020. There are many auspicious times for Lakshmi Puja on Diwali this year. Diwali will be celebrated in Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga. According to this, in the Deep Parv, Roop will be performed in the morning, then Mahalakshmi Pujan can be done in the evening. Similar Deep Utsavs have been celebrated in the past. Dhanwantari Jayanti will also be celebrated on 13 November in Pradoshkal along with the festival of Dhanteras and Deep Dan, Mass Shivaratri, Pradosh. The festival of Roop Chaudas Chaturdashi will be celebrated before Arunodayam. At the time of worshiping Mahalakshmi on November 14, Swati Nakshatra Saubhagya Yog will be the Moon in Libra, the Sun in Libra will be in the Sun of Sagittarius.

Lakshmi Pujan 2020 Muhurta

It is considered best to do Lakshmi Poojan in Diwali 2020 in stable Lagna and stable Navamsa.
Pradosh Kaal will last from 5:33 pm to 8:12 pm.
The best Muhurta of Lakshmi Pujan will be from 5:49 am to 6:02 pm.
In this Muhurta, there will also be a stable Taurus ascendant and a stable ninth sign of Aquarius.

Lakshmi Puja Muhurta: from 5:28 on the evening of November 14 to 7:24 in the evening.

Best Muhurta on November 14 from 5:49 pm to 6:02 pm.

Pradosh Kaal Muhurta: From 5:33 pm to 8:12 pm on 14 November.

Taurus Kaal Muhurta: From 5:28 on the evening of November 14 to 7:24 in the night.

Lakshmi Puja 2020: Choghadiya Muhurta

Noon: (Benefit, Amrit) on the afternoon of November 14 from 2:17 in the evening to 04:07.

Evening: (Benefit) from 05:28 to 07:07 on the evening of 14 November.

Night: (Shubh, Amrit, Chal) from 08:47 to 01:45 on the night of 14 November.

Morning: (profit) on November 15 from 05:04 to 06:44.

Mahanishith Kaal muhurta

Mahanishith Kaal Muhurta: From 11:39 to 00:32 at night.

Singh Kaal Muhurta: 00:01 to 02:19 at night.

Business Establishment Puja Muhurta

Best Muhurta Abhijit: 12:09 pm to 04:05 pm.
