Navratri diet plan: Every year in October or November, Sharadiye Navaratri is celebrated with faith and belief. This is considered as one of the major festivals among Hindus. During this festival, people use to worship the nine forms of Maa Durga for nine days. People in India use to worship the nine forms of Maa Shakti with family. It occurs in the Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month. This year Sharadiye Navaratri is celebrated from the 17th of November. During these sacred days, people worship goddess Durga along with keeping fast. As per the belief by keeping fast we can make Goddess happy. Thus, we can get her blessings and all our wishes will be fulfilled.

However, keeping fast the whole day long for 9 days is not an easy task. Also, due to Covid 19 impact, it is necessary to keep ourselves healthy and fit. Thus in this article, we are including some food items as your Navratri diet plan that are helpful in giving energy and keeping yourself fit. These food items to consume during Navratri fast are as follows
Fox Nuts Pudding ( Makhane ki Kheer )
Fox nuts pudding can be eaten during the fast of Navratri. You can also add dry fruits to make it even more healthy and energetic.
Roasted Fox Nuts ( Bhuna Hua Makhana )
Roasted Fox Nuts and peanut in Desi Ghee can be eaten during the fast of Navratri. Adding rock salt can also give a pleasant taste.
Pears Sago ( Sabutdane ki Khichdi )
It contains starch and carbohydrates that are very useful during your fast days. So, during your Navratri fast you can consume Sabut Dane ki Khichdi.
Banana
Banana is a very good option in fast. It gives you energy so that you able to work without consuming food.
Walnuts ( Akhrot )
Walnuts can be eaten during the fast of Navratri. It gives you energy and strength.
Coconut water
You can also consume coconut water while you fast. Apart from hydrating the body, it helps in maintaining the energy level.
Kuttu Flour ( Kuttu ka Aata )
Kuttu ka atta is very much in use during fast days. You can eat food items made of Kuttu floor once in the day only.
