There is no doubt that migraine is one of the serious problems. But this pain can be relieved with the help of yoga. Makarasana or Crocodile Pose
In Makarasan, the eyes and Brain are relaxed. Due to which our mind and body remain calm and tension free. Also, this yoga asana helps in relieving migraine, depression, confusion, restlessness, and brain-related disorders. It serves as a remedy for the people suffering from headaches.
Hastapadasana or Standing Forward Bend
By standing straight and bending forward during the Hastapadasna, the blood supply in our vascular system becomes larger which helps in making it strong. This also calms the mind. Thus it helps in migraine.
Paschimottanasana or Two-legged Forward bend
Sitting, stretching both legs forward, bending forward during this yoga pose while moving the arms towards the feet helps in calming down the brain and give relief from tension. Thus it helps in controlling migraine.
Shavasana or Corpse Pose
By deep meditation, this yoga pose takes the body to a state of relaxation. Also, it brings elation and strength to the body. This should be the last yoga pose.
Marjariasana or Cat stretch
Regular practice of this yoga pose increases blood circulation in the head. It also provides excellent massage and stretches to the spine, neck, and shoulders. Thus it is very useful to relieve headaches and migraine problems.
Setu Bandhasana or bridge pose
This yoga pose calms the mind. Also, it helps to overcome anxiety. By this yoga pose, blood circulation increases towards the head that will help to overcome the problem of migraines.
Padmasana or Lotus pose
Sitting in this yoga pose calms the mind and eliminates headaches.
