The practice of focusing on the specific object, activity, or thought to maintain awareness in mind is known as Meditation. Different types of Meditation helps in the attainment of the calmness and serene state of mind and soul. Also, it is not only a spiritual activity, but a combination of mental and spiritual activity. This method is ample to fill your mind with positivity. Moreover, from the ancient era, People usually practicing meditation in an inartificial, calm, and serene environment. Also, this helps to connect yourself with the supreme power of the world. However, in recent times meditation is also used as mindfulness activities. It helps in removing the stress out of your mind. So, take time from your busy and hectic schedule and start practicing Meditation.

Spiritual meditation

Spiritual Meditation is an essential part of religious activities. This type of meditation helps in connecting your soul to the supreme power of the world. It will help you in understanding the true meaning of life. Also, it helps in changing the path of your work and life. Spiritual Meditation can be done in a calm and serene place. Whether inside your home or at the place of worship, or even in the lap of nature.

Movement meditation

This meditation involves connecting your mind and soul through a little activity. Moving meditation is walking in the natural environment or in forests by listening to the calmness of the environment.

Mindfulness meditation

Typically originated from Buddhist culture, this type of meditation is very famous in the west. This meditation helps in increasing awareness by focusing on a certain object along with the breathing technique. This meditation technique helps in observing feelings, thoughts, or body sensations.

Mantra meditation

It helps the mantra or the repetition of words to bring calmness to your mind and soul. Mantra such as “Om” can be repeated while closing your eyes to attain focus. This type of meditation brings stability to your mind and helps in connecting with the god or Universe. You can also explore deep awareness of this meditation technique.

Focused meditation

This meditation type brings more focus in life by using any senses of the human body. This meditation includes focusing on the flame of the candle, listening to gong, or counting beads of mala. Although a difficult one, this meditation type is very useful.

Transcendental meditation

This famous type of meditation is especially for those who want to maintain a firm meditation practice. It is the most scientifically studied meditation type.
