MS Dhoni, our captain cool, announced his retirement from International Cricket via Instagram on 15th August. With an emotional video, posted by him on his Instagram account, he wrote,

Soon after this, twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and all other social media platforms filled up with emotional messages for Mahendra Singh Dhoni, no one ever think that World Cup-winning Indian Captain bid goodbye from all formats of International Cricket, all of a sudden, without a farewell match.
It’s been 2 days post his retirement announcement and people are still writing emotional messages to Indian Captain.
But, Do You Know, it was Lata Ji, who stopped him from taking retirement before.
Yes! you read it right!
India lost world cup semifinals against England on 10 July 2019, in which MS Dhoni wasn’t able to make his fans happy. Post that match, there were rumors that MS Dhoni will soon take retirement, even Dhoni also talked about his retirement before World Cup, so, many were sure that now Captain Cool bid goodbye to Cricket.
When Lata Mangeshkar get to know about it, she immediately appeals via her twitter account to MS Dhoni on not taking the retirement, she tweets
