Shri Krishna Janamashtmi as well all know is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna is the 8th incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Dwapar Yug according to Hindu mythology. The eight-day of Krishna Paksha of the Bhadrapad month is celebrated with joy and enthusiasm across India and various parts of the world. However, this year due to Coronavirus we might not be able to see the grand celebration across temples in the world. This can result in sadness among the Krishna devotees. Although, small celebrations inside temples and homes can be seen.

But The International Society for Krishna Consciousness or ISKCON is planning something special for the devotees of Lord Krishna. Just like a meeting, chats, shopping, and so on are going online, the same as the Darshan of Lord Krishna. ISKCON is now providing an option for live Darshan of Lord Krishna temple during Janamasthmi. Not just a single place, ISKCON is making the darshans of all 150 temples across India go live.
The entry on the ISKCON temple is restricted to invitations only but the devotees can connect to Lord via the internet. They had made arrangements to provide the live darshans of aarti and decorations of the temple. But only prebooking is allowed as the number can exceed a large amount. Also, the Delhi temple will not be decorated with flowers.
So, enjoy the auspicious festival of Shree Krishna Janmashtmi and pray to Lord Krishna to save the world from the Coronavirus Pandemic.
