Pink Feelings

After talking to you I feel like sixteen again
The blush, the pink-hue, the red nose,                                                  the joy, the excitements are all regained
A mystery man you still are
N all my curiosity is coz I care.
I want you to know what I feel for you
But scared I am coz this is just dew.
As we are both engaged in our own endeavors
So don’t want to make things between us worse.
I jump, shout and dance with Joy
Like a child after getting his favorite Toy.
Seeing you happy makes me forget my pain
And I smile like a teenager again.
Today, after talking to you the way I smiled
Was the one I had lost far behind.
Seeing my pink face, mum questioned, Am I Alright?
To which I had to lie and say Yeah, I’m Fine.
Being teased by my sister, I had to shout
N under the blanket I kept blushing loud.
Fighting with you like Tom and Jerry
Adds to my cake an extra Cherry.
You personify the word Crush to me
My reaction while thinking about you, you must see.
I wanna be your Candy coz you are my Crush
I wonder why your name makes me Blush.
